Recording

Cascading Waters specializes in multitrack recording of live events. This service is closely tied to our live sound capabilities. We have 24 track digital recording at 48kHz, 24 bit, directly to hard drive equipment. We either provide our live sound system for the event or augment the customers sound system with our selection of high quality microphones, DI's, tube and solid state preamps, and of course our recording and live expertise. We backup the recordings typically on site and transfer the audio files to a Raid 1 hard drive system soon after the event or during the night between sessions in the case of conferences. We also record a main mix for reference purposes using a high quality DSD recorder (Korg MR1000 or Korg MR1). The recorded files can be transferred to the customer via our website and an FTP account, or for most recordings, the audio is remixed and mastered by us.
